Several More Krakow Photos
St. Mary's Church (Kosciol Mariacki) overlooks
the square from the east. The first church that had
stood on this site was built in the 1220's, when it was destroyed during the Tatar raids,
construction of this church started using the walls of the previous church.
A public building of some sort, the architecture
is supberb. Practically the whole city has this theme throughout!
